About Us

 Twickenham Tigers Basketball Club was founded in September 2008 by a group of friends who, after finishing university, wanted to stay together and continue playing the sport they loved. In our inaugural year, we fielded only a men’s team, which went on to win the Middlesex Basketball League 1st Division as well as the Men's 1st Division Playoffs.

Inspired by this success, we expanded in 2009 to include a women’s team. Remarkably, they achieved a double victory in their first season by winning both the Surrey League and the Surrey Cup.

Since those early days, the Tigers have surpassed all expectations. Our club has grown significantly, serving the local community with dedication and passion. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and supportive environment where players of all abilities can enjoy basketball, develop their skills, and form lasting friendships.

The Twickenham Tigers are more than just a basketball club; we are an integral part of the community. We foster a sense of belonging, encourage physical activity, and promote teamwork and sportsmanship. Our achievements on and off the court are a testament to the hard work and commitment of our members and the support of our community.
